Carla Ulbrich is a humorous folksinger who truly stands out from the pack. Her songwriting sits at the perfect intersection of catchy and comedy—quirky and filled with humor—yet grounded in genuine insight about everyday life. 

For over 20 years, Carla has performed at renowned listening rooms and festivals across the U.S. and abroad, including the Bluebird Cafe, Eddie’s Attic, the Kerrville Folk Festival, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Florida Folk Festival, South Florida Folk Festival, The Turtle Hill Folk Festival, MENSA, and The Troubadour (Folk Project). Her wide-ranging audiences have also included comedy clubs, libraries, corporate events, and healthcare conventions. Across 9 CDs, Carla’s music has been featured on the BBC, Dr. Demento, SiriusXM Comedy Radio, PBS, and NPR’s Weekend Edition.

Carla is also a member of the folk comedy supergroup “The April Fools” (Buskin and Batteau, Christine Lavin, John Forster, Carla Ulbrich).
